Vanilla Panna Cotta

Vanilla Panna Cotta with Tropical Fruit Recipe

Milk 2 cup(s)
MASTERFOODS Vanilla Beans 2 .
Cream 600 ml
Castor Sugar 1/2 cup(s)
Gelatine 2 tbsp Gelatine Powder
Water 1 tbsp
Starfruit 1 .
Mango(s) 1 . Peeled & seeded


Recipe Directions:










Grease
To rub or brush lightly with oil or fat.

  • Pour the milk into a medium saucepan. Halve MASTERFOODS Vanilla Beans and scrape seeds into saucepan with milk. Bring to the boil, then remove from heat. Cool to room temperature.








  • Whip
    To beat rapidly, incorporate air and product expansion.

    cream and sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold into cooled milk.
  • Sprinkle gelatine over water in a small measuring jug. Place jug in a saucepan of simmering water and stir until gelatine dissolves.
  • Stir gelatine into cream mixture and pour into ramekins. Refrigerate for about 6 hours or until set.
  • Invert panna cotta onto plates and decorate with starfruit and mango.
  • Hints:
    Cooking Time - 15 minutes, but allow for refrigeration time as well.
